Up and Running

This issue concerns the efficiency of religiously affiliated schools and their benefits to society. Despite the continual arousal of debates between the benefits of public education compared to that of private Catholic schools, the majority of research indicates that the education provided by these private catholic schools is much more thorough. In addition, due to the employment of nuns as teachers the costs per each student were lower than those of the public school systems.
However, more recently Catholic school enrollment has dropped and countless schools have been closing due to bankruptcy, yet these schools continue to provide great service to the students and community.

Therefore, by researching this topic I have decided to focus my research paper on the efficiency of religiously affiliated schools. I have always been extremely interested in religion and how religion affects various aspects of one’s life. Therefore, I felt that this topic would be of great interest to me.
